          Luiza Xhuvani (Papathanasi) lindi më 26 mars1964 në Sarandë është artiste shqiptare.

          == Edukimi - puna dhe veprimtaria ==E konsideruar si një ndër aktoret më të talentuara shqiptare, Luiza Xhuvani u diplomua si aktore në Akademinë e Arteve më 1985, 1986-1987 dhe më 1989 por në Teatrin Kombëtar filloi punën pas një përvoje dy vjeçare në Estradën e Sarandës.

          Ende studente, fillon karrierën si aktore filmi me “Dhe vjen një ditë” (Infermierja) dhe “Flutura në kabinën time” (Flutura) të V. Priftit, me të cilin fiton Kupën për Aktoren më të Mire në Festivalin e Filmit, të vitit 1985-1989, “Fjalë pa fund” (Magdalena) i S.

          Pecanit, “Hetimi vazhdon” (Hetuesja), “Rrethi i kujtesës” (Mbesa) i E. Musliut, “Muri i gjallë” (Rozafa) i M. Fejzos. Nga vitet 1992-1993 e në vazhdim ka një bashkëpunim të suksesshëm me regjisorin Gj. Xhuvani, nën drejtimin e të cil
